A less hectic day in the Gospel Misison kitchen – maybe because these two chefs are long time friends, having done their apprentice ship together. Once again, we were so pleased with the creativity and talent from both chefs – each pulling out different ingredients from the Gospel Mission pantry.
Chef Mark went with a lovely Spring broth, creating a Smoked Ham and White Bean soup. Chef Paul went for comfort food, and made a hearty Minnestrone – complete with crisp bread crumbs and roasted broccoli on the top. Our judges for Round #2 were And and TJ from SilkFm, along with Dwayne and Keith Rainey from the Gospel Mission.
And, when all was said and tasted – Chef Paul came out on top!
